Prof. Zhiqian Mei is the Master's tutor of College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, the vice director of Changzhou Key Lab of Special Robots and Intelligent Technology, a member of Confederation of Chinese Metalforming Industry, Metalforming Equipment Informatization Committee, the chairman of China Democratic League in Changzhou campus of Hohai University.

His general interests include: the design of mechanical and electrical control system and nonlinear theory and engineering application in electromechanical servo system.
