In the college of Mechanical and electrical Engineering, we recruit approximately 10 postgraduate students for master degree every year. We welcome applications for Master study from suitably qualified applicants throughout the year.
The international collaboration and partnership in the college are from prestigious universities located in America, Britain, France, Holland, Japan, and Singapore. It has established long-term cooperative mechanisms with Delft University of Technology (Holland), National University of Singapore, The University of Alabama (U.S.A), and National Cheng Kung University (Taiwan). A photovoltaic project called “The TurePower” has been cooperated by the college and National University of Singapore
Many international outstanding experts and scholars are invited to give lectures every year. And some excellent teachers of the staff will be abroad for academic collaboration and communication. There are 30 students going abroad for further study per year approximately.
The MSc course provides students with a knowledge and understanding of the state-of-the-art in one or more of the many areas of mechanical engineering in which the Department has acknowledged expertise. This course provides you with advanced knowledge and understanding in one or more of the many areas of mechanical engineering in which our college has acknowledged expertise. This combines with the potential for students to develop their abilities in subjects such as numerical analysis and signal processing, which are useful in all areas of mechanical engineering and are associated with the application of computers in engineering practice. The principal component of the course is the individual project, which is usually associated with current research activity or industrial consultancy, allowing you to gain substantial expertise in one particular area. Furthermore, the college sets up courses for international postgraduate students of Mechanical Engineering to help cultivate high-level talents for Asian and African countries.
